Bay Care Health System is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical /Surgical Oncology Unit at Winter Haven Hospital . Winter Haven Hospital is recognized for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and improving the health of the communities we serve.
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a hospital setting using the nursing process and established clinical standards. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, prioritizes patient needs, and ensures safe, high-quality care on a Medical/Surgical Cardiac unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using evidence-based nursing practice
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on plans of care
- Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to support staff
- Identify patient safety risks related to diagnosis, medications, procedures, and age
- Maintain professional accountability and ongoing development
