Registered Nurse - Med​/Surg

Bay Care Health System is currently seeking a RN to join our outstanding and compassionate Medical/Surgical team at Winter Haven Hospital.

• Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient‑care activities to other members of the health‑care team.
• Responsible for professional accountability and development.
• Collaborates and communicates with inter‑disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 6 months RN acute care experience
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
