Registered Nurse - Med​/Surg Tele

Position Description

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. The RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team and is responsible for professional accountability and development.

• Collaborate and communicate with inter‑disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting with the plan of care.
• Organize, prioritize, and update the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit.
• Identify patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepare the room environment.

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 6 months RN acute care experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing
