Registered Nurse (RN) – Winter Haven, FL
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Operating Room team. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional perioperative care in a collaborative surgical environment while supporting professional growth and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards
- Deliver safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care throughout the perioperative experience
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Promote patient safety and adherence to perioperative standards and best practices
- Perform preceptor and charge nurse responsibilities as assigned
- Demonstrate professional accountability and commitment to continuous learning and development
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification if required by the department
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience required
- At least one year of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
