Summary:
Delivers care for a group of patients applying the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Is responsible for professional accountability and seeks opportunities to develop. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.
The Stat RN is a fast-paced position that will respond to emergency codes house-wide and may be providing care for a patient during the immediate period afterwards, assist all clinical departments when busy, including ICU and ED, and help to precept/guide the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' RN experience in any setting.
- Licensed RN and completion of all Clinical Nurse requirements.
- At least one year of RN experience in the ER is preferred.
