Overview
Help Build the First Impression — One Blade of Grass at a Time. At LEGOLAND® Resort, every detail matters — from our attractions to the welcoming landscapes. We’re looking for a Landscaping Specialist who creates clean, vibrant, guest-ready outdoor spaces while supporting the magic behind the scenes. The ideal candidate will have general landscaping knowledge and be available to work a Monday through Friday schedule from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

🌿 Landscape Maintenance & Grounds Care
- Maintain lawns, planting beds, trees, shrubs, and themed landscape areas across the resort.
- Perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, and debris removal to meet high presentation standards.
- Support seasonal installations, themed overlays, and special event preparations.
- Assist with planting, soil preparation, fertilization, and basic weed or pest control in line with safety guidelines.
- Keep walkways, courtyards, entrances, and guest areas clean, safe, and visually appealing.
💧 Irrigation & Hardscape Support
- Assist with inspection and basic maintenance of irrigation systems (leaks, broken heads, coverage issues).
- Support minor hardscape upkeep such as pressure washing, pathway edging, and exterior furniture placement.
- Identify and report irrigation or landscape infrastructure issues requiring advanced repair.
🔍 Inspections & Quality Standards
- Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards, trip risks, dead vegetation, or presentation concerns.
- Ensure all landscaped areas meet LEGOLAND® standards, seasonal expectations, and guest experience goals.
- Proactively resolve issues or escalate concerns to the Facilities Supervisor when needed.
🛠 Work Orders & Team Collaboration
- Complete assigned landscape-related work orders and accurately document work in the CMMS.
- Communicate progress, delays, or material needs to leadership.
- Collaborate with Facilities, Custodial, Operations, and external vendors to support resort-wide initiatives.
- Assist with emergency response efforts such as storm cleanup or debris removal.
Qualifications & Experience
🧩 What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of hands-on landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic horticulture, turf care, and landscape maintenance practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to follow direction while working independently or as part of a team.
- Professional, friendly demeanor in guest-facing environments.
