Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Community Outreach Specialist will play a pivotal role in growing awareness of Valora's services and healthcare providers within our communities, with a particular focus on expanding our geriatric patient population. Working closely with the marketing event coordinator, this position will actively participate in events and engage with the public to promote Valora's services, ultimately aiming to enroll new patients.
The position requires flexibility in working hours as events may take place outside of regular business hours.
- Visit identified marketing sites to promote Valora's Medical and Wellness Centers Services and Medical Providers.
- Inform prospective patients of all Valora's services.
- Generate New Leads of patients.
- Work with the Events team and participate in Health Fairs and Community Events to bring awareness to Valora.
- Partner with insurance agents and brokers, senior communities, and business leaders to host events and promote Valora's services and doctors.
- Deliver presentations to prospective patients.
- Assist the Events team in identifying possible partnerships in the community where to market Valora's services.
- Establish and nurture excellent relationships with insurance agents and brokers.
- High School Degree or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in a sales position is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required for this territory.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is desired but not required.
- Must have effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Ability to interact effectively with the public.
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, with the ability to work on weekends when necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to events and assigned clinic location.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Ability to deal with conflict and rejection successfully.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, Ability to learn new procedures, and adapt quickly to change.
- Innovative, motivated, organized, and team player.
- Follow through with commitments.

- Any additional duties as assigned by management.
