• High school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred
• Ability to work a flexible 5-day schedule: days, evenings, weekends and holidays (e.g., Fourth of July, Black Friday)
• Pleasant and polite manners when dealing with co-workers and customers
• Sales and closing techniques
• Basic reading, math, writing and communication skills
• Bi-lingual a plus
• Strong computer, email and internet proficiency with nimble keyboard skills
• Commitment to high professional ethical standards
• Accountability for individual performance within a team environment
• Verifiable positive track record of success, preferably in Appliances, Bedding or big-ticket items
• Patience, resiliency and persistence backed by a results-oriented personality
• Energy, enthusiasm and ambition to flourish in a fast-paced sales culture
• Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds repetitively, and up to 75 pounds occasionally without assistance
• Pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test
• Characterized as a person who is “glass is ALWAYS half full”
