As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Winter Haven, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or dispatch as needed.
• Control entry and exit at designated points, verify authorization when required, and direct visitors to appropriate areas in accordance with facility policies.
• Complete required reports and activity logs, document incidents and observations, and assist with security-related investigations as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
