Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment and circuits, principally, but not limited to power distribution, motor control centers, and backup emergency switch gear. Provide indirect guidance to others and project‑specific management. Perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment, primarily electrical and associated systems, in accordance with departmental, hospital, industry standards and regulatory agency codes. Maintain facilities and equipment in a hospital or clinic environment.

Work various shifts, weekends, and on call to meet hospital needs. Have working knowledge of NFPA 99 guidelines and current knowledge of federal, state, local and CMS codes and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must obtain OSHA 10‑hour certification within 90 days.
• 10 years of experience as an electrician.
• 5 years of hospital experience.
• 1 year of high‑rise electrical system experience preferred.
• 1 year of mechanical system experience preferred.
• Journeyman electrician license required.

• High school or equivalent.
• Technical or equivalent educational background.
• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.

• Electrician license.
