Metro Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Winter Haven, Florida for the Tampa General Aeromed program.

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting the maintenance team by managing the inventory of aircraft component parts and tools.
Essential Functions- Maintain inventory levels of aircraft parts, tooling, and consumables
- Maintain accurate inventory control
- Maintain required FAA documentation of aircraft parts
- Perform monthly/quarterly shelf‑life inspections of aircraft parts
- Requisition of parts, tooling, consumables, and supplies for scheduled/unscheduled aircraft inspections and stock
- Ensure compliance with tooling calibration and certifications
- Shipping and receiving aircraft component parts
- Honesty, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining safe, compliant aircraft
- High attention to detail
- Extreme focus on accuracy and timeliness in a high‑volume atmosphere
- Work successfully independently as well as in a team environment
- Sound judgment and objectivity in decision‑making
- Effective maintenance planning and scheduling skills
- Exemplary customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Office suite
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Parts management experience preferred
- Prolonged periods of walking, pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, sitting, and standing
- Climbing on various heights
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependent upon location – indoor/outdoor aircraft hangar or shop with potentially extreme cold and hot temperatures
- Potential for exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Full‑time
- Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week
- On‑call after hours and weekends when necessary
- Travel in the local area and to various bases - 25%
