Client Overview:
Our client, a private real estate and development company in Orlando, is seeking a Tax Accountant to support their growing Tax team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:$65k - $80k + Bonus
Position Overview:The Tax Accountant will work with the Tax Manager to provide tax analysis, forecasts, estimates, and tax filings for various reports. The Tax Accountant will handle multi-state tax filings, property tax assessments, and property tax appeals.
Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant:- Assist in the preparation of year-end partnership tax returns.
- Respond to all tax notices (Federal, State, Local).
- Maintain tax basis schedules.
- Work with investors and fund administrators on tax-related financial processes.
- Special projects assigned by the Tax Manager.
- 1+ years of experience in public accounting.
- Eagerness and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience with real estate and partnership tax is a plus.
- Knowledge of property accounting highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- A CPA license is preferred.
