Automotive Used Car Reconditioning Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. They will oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to them.

Job Expectations:
- Full repairs of any vehicle components.
- Emission diagnostic and repair capabilities, using shop‑supplied diagnostic equipment to repair the vehicle properly and efficiently.
- Powertrain diagnostics repair and rebuild (engine, transmissions, and rear ends).
- Understanding of vehicle suspension and brake systems including ABS and related electrical systems; diagnose and repair using diagnostic equipment.
- Full knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and their operations, including air‑bag systems.
- Electrical systems diagnostics and full repairs from simple installation of battery or alternator to diagnosing and repairing wiring harnesses.
- Full knowledge of A/C systems and operations; diagnose and repair A/C systems, including use of A/C recovery and recharge.
- Full understanding of special tools and their use; read and interpret wiring diagrams; use shop equipment from laptop to A/C machine, brake lathe, alignment machine.
- Work efficiently, repair a vehicle within the proper time allotted and ensure proper repair.
Minimum Qualifications:
- ASE Certification preferred.
- 3+ years experience on multi‑brand models.
- Ability to read and comprehend.
- High School Diploma.
- Reliable Transportation.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Pass background screening requirements.

Schedule:
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Pay: $18–$28 per hour depending on experience and certifications.
