- Manage all field activities from project startup through closeout.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Develop and implement project work plans and production schedules.
- Monitor productivity and adjust resources to maintain schedule commitments.
- Oversee installation of water, sewer, storm drainage, force mains, fire water mains, pump stations, and related utility infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and municipal standards.
- Lead utility conflict resolution and unforeseen field condition management.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and project turnover activities.
- Direct and mentor foremen, operators, laborers, and subcontractors.
- Conduct daily production meetings and weekly planning sessions.
- Establish performance expectations and accountability throughout project teams.
- Support workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and employee development.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Promote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Investigate incidents and near misses while implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure all personnel maintain required certifications and safety training.
- Drive a zero-incident safety culture across all projects.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers regarding budgets, schedules, and project performance.
- Participate in owner, engineer, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Review project schedules and identify potential risks before they impact production.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, production tracking, and project documentation.
- Assist with project forecasting and resource planning.
- Serve as the primary field representative for clients, inspectors, utility authorities, and consultants.
- Build strong relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
- Resolve project concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Promote customer satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
