Position OverviewThe Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center is recruiting for a Director of Lung Transplant in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, & Sleep Medicine to lead with a commitment to excellence in the clinical, research, and educational missions. Eligible candidates should be at the Associate Professor or Professor level. The ideal candidate will be someone with an emerging or established leadership background in Transplant Pulmonology at an academic center.
Eligible candidates will need to articulate a clear vision for a forward‑thinking strategy aimed at enhancing growth in clinical operations and research/scholarship. The Director will demonstrate the ability to lead a highly collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team within a high‑volume lung transplant program with continuing growth.
Lead the lung transplant program in clinical, research and educational missions, provide strategic vision, grow clinical operations, lead a multi‑disciplinary team, and support the program’s continued growth.
Requirements- Associate or Professor Level
- Board Certified/Eligible in Adult Pulmonary Disease
- Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Fellowship trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Advanced training or experience in Lung Transplantation
- An active research program in basic, translational, clinical, or health services research is desirable
- Qualify for academic appointment at The Ohio State University – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience.
Associate or Professor Level will be considered. Eligible candidates will qualify for academic appointment at The Ohio State University – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience.
