Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Admission is responsible for drafting strategies to increase applications and reach new applicant markets, for approval by the Director of Admission and Financial Aid. This position also assists with meeting the marketing needs of the Admission Office, works closely with the Director of Admission and Financial Aid on Trinity Preparatory international program, serves on the Admission committee, manages the Blue and Gold Society and assists in planning and attends admission office events.

This position requires the highest degree of professionalism and discretion in representing the School and managing confidential information.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answers inquiry calls from families.
  • Provides campus tours to prospective families and hosts for visitations and interviews, and assesses applicants.
  • Oversees and directs community engagement to increase applications.
  • Member of the Admission Committee.
  • Assists with international student enrollment process.
  • Supervises/administrates the ISEE exams and maintains placement information database including grades, test scores, addresses and phone numbers.
  • Manages re‑enrollment for returning students, tracks re‑enrollment numbers, and reports status of returns on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Assists families in processing their requests for financial aid and provides follow‑up and award results.
  • Supervises and coordinates the Blue & Gold Society Student Ambassador Program, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and event participation.
  • Assists with financial aid administration, including data uploads, record management, and process coordination within Clarity and Veracross.
  • Assists with international student administration and SEVIS compliance, including student record maintenance, documentation, and enrollment‑related processes.
  • Assists with all event planning and setup for admission events.
  • Participates and attends appropriate organizational meetings and conferences, including Winter Park Chamber of Commerce meetings, to establish and promote relationships.
  • Acts as an administrator at athletic events.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university; or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Promotes an inclusive environment that values, encourages, supports differences, and articulates an authentic commitment to diversity in thought and perspective while holding others accountable for the same.
  • Proficient in database software, internet software, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office Word Processing, Google Mail, Google Drive and Google Calendar.
  • Exceptionally capable in both written and oral communication.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills to groups of two hundred or more persons.
  • Proven success working collaboratively with various constituents in a school or related environment.
  • Able to work after school hours and provide significant weekend commitment for admission events.
  • Able to manage multiple projects over time.
  • Must be able to pass a Jessica Lunsford Level II background check and drug test.
Certifications Required
  • CPR/AED/First Aid, which may be obtained upon hiring.
