Join Our Team as a Specialist, Testing and Assessment!

Are you looking for an opportunity to play an important role in supporting student success? Valencia College is seeking a full-time Specialist, Testing and Assessment for our Winter Park Campus to support the daily operations of the Testing and Assessment Center . In this role, you will administer and proctor a variety of examinations, including standardized tests, Valencia College faculty course exams, and distance learning exams for external institutions.

You will also help prepare testing materials, support students throughout the testing process, and ensure the testing center is prepared and secure each day. If you are interested in a role where your work directly supports students and the academic community, we invite you to apply!

Please note: Due to College Board requirements for CLEP testing, current undergraduate students at any institution are not eligible for this position. Current Valencia College students are also not eligible due to the position's responsibility for administering and proctoring Valencia College faculty course examinations.

Required Certification

  • Must be able to successfully complete all required certification(s) to proctor examinations within the Testing and Assessment Center within 20 business days of the date of hire.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills when working with students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
  • Proficiency with technology such as Banner, Register Blast, and testing platforms.
  • Ability to follow established procedures while maintaining confidentiality, testing security, and exam integrity.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, dependability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
