Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Position Location
This role supports our Winter Park, FL branch location, which serves customers in the greater Orlando, FL area.
Project Manager OverviewProject Managers coordinate and deliver multiple, simultaneous building automation projects of varying complexities, ensuring client satisfaction, effective resource allocation, and safe, timely completion.
Responsibilities- Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and related documents to understand project intentions and establish comprehensive schedules while identifying key installation timelines.
- Oversee procurement of supplies and materials, and actively participate in cost reviews to maintain financial efficiency.
- Assist the Operations Manager in contracting subcontractors, coordinating their activities to align with project scope, schedules, and fiscal requirements, while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Conduct orientations for project technicians, providing all necessary documentation such as scopes of work, technical drawings, contacts, and application‑engineered diagrams.
- Track project resources and progress, documenting events that impact schedule, scope, and overall efficiency, and identify and pursue opportunities for project‑specific change orders.
- Manage project‑specific billing coordination with accounting and Operations, schedule commissioning resources, expedite the return of mark‑ups for as‑built development, and ensure timely completion of project close‑out documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or state‑recognized GED.
- 1+ years of on‑the‑job experience in the HVAC controls industry, with the ability to read and understand MEP drawings, electrical/network/control wiring diagrams, and protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- 21 years of age, valid driver’s license with limited violations; eligibility to participate in Siemens’s fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of project management experience in the HVAC controls industry.

Pay range: $68,830 – $117,994 annually, with a target incentive of 10% of base salary. Actual wage may vary based on budget and candidate experience.
