Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in electrical requirements analysis, systems engineering, or verification & validation
- Strong systems engineering background with experience in electronics or electrical engineering
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring/harnesses, and system interfaces
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills
Job Description:
This role focuses on requirements verification and compliance for defense programs. It is a requirements-based engineering position, not hands-on testing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing customer and government requirements to ensure system design compliance.
- Evaluating electrical schematics, circuit designs, and system architectures.
- Performing circuit analysis and understanding system functionality from documentation.
- Developing requirement compliance responses and documentation.
- Verifying designs against customer requirements, military standards, and specifications.
- Supporting traceability across a database of approximately 1,000 requirements.
- Documenting how system designs satisfy government requirements and program standards.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure design compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
