We are seeking a Structural Engineer to independently develop structural solutions, perform engineering analysis, and prepare technical documentation for building projects. This position requires an active PE license and hands-on experience designing wood, concrete, and masonry structural systems.
Responsibilities- Perform structural calculations and engineering analysis for wood, concrete, and masonry systems.
- Develop structural designs, drawings, details, and supporting technical documentation.
- Prepare engineering solutions for repairs and field-related structural issues.
- Review structural documentation and coordinate designs with related building components.
- Apply relevant codes, standards, and engineering principles throughout the design process.
- Review field conditions through site visits and provide technical recommendations as needed.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, construction, and other project stakeholders.
- Sign and seal engineering documents when required and permitted by applicable licensure.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional structural engineering experience.
- Demonstrated structural design experience involving wood framing, concrete, and masonry systems.
- Ability to independently perform calculations, develop structural documentation, and complete engineering assignments with limited oversight.
