Key Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist- Contact customers via phone and email to collect past‑due payments and manage assigned AR portfolio follow‑up as the Collections Specialist
- Review daily aging reports, prioritize outreach efforts, and reduce DSO by actively resolving delinquent accounts as the Collections Specialist
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, cash‑application issues, and customer inquiries while providing account statements as the Collections Specialist
- Review credit override requests, document collection activity, and keep management informed of key account developments as the Collections Specialist
- Partner with Sales and AR teams to address credit limits, cash‑application matters, and collection‑related challenges as the Collections Specialist
- At least 1 year of collections or accounts receivable experience; B2B experience preferred
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, multitasking, and time‑management skills
- Proficiency in Outlook with working knowledge of Excel and Word; detail‑oriented and organized
