Job Title:

Clinical Research Senior Coordinator - Health and Rehab Sciences Department:
Medicine | Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Occupational Therapy

Position Summary

Clinical Research Senior Coordinator (Occupational Therapy) is essential to the successful execution of the CDC-funded cooperative agreement From Screening to Safety:
Implementing the AL-STEADI Initiative in Assisted Living Communities (U01CE
003720). The individual hired into this role will serve as a core implementation and research team member responsible for carrying out project activities that require advanced clinical expertise, methodological rigor, and cross-institutional coordination. In particular, this individual will work closely with the project’s co-Principal Investigator at Brown University to plan and conduct multi-day assisted living site visits, coordinate qualitative and observational data collection, support data management and analysis activities, and contribute substantively to manuscripts and dissemination products required under the cooperative agreement mechanism.

Given the CDC’s substantial programmatic involvement in this award, including participation in protocol refinement, data interpretation, and dissemination, this role requires an individual who can operate independently, communicate effectively with federal partners, and translate complex clinical and implementation findings across research and practice audiences.

In addition to collaborating closely with the Brown University investigative team, this position will coordinate and manage project activities that are operationally housed within the IGNITE Lab at The Ohio State University, led by Dr. Lisa Juckett. These responsibilities include organizing and leading project meetings, maintaining timelines across multiple ADAPT-ITT phases, coordinating communication among Ohio State, Brown University, assisted living partners, and external collaborators, and supporting both qualitative and quantitative analytic workflows generated through the IGNITE Lab.

The individual in this role will also contribute to manuscript preparation, conference abstracts, and partner-facing dissemination products, ensuring alignment between on-the-ground implementation activities and analytic outputs. The breadth, complexity, and interdisciplinary nature of these responsibilities necessitate a senior-level research professional with occupational therapy training and prior assisted living experience who can integrate clinical judgment, implementation science methods, and project management functions across institutions.

As such, this position represents a critical investment in the successful delivery, scientific integrity, and dissemination of outcomes associated with this federally funded project.
