Service Desk Coordinator – Technology Team

We are seeking a Service Desk Coordinator in Orlando, FL. In this role you will triage and manage support tickets (Tier 1‑2), provide routine issue support, deliver excellent customer service, communicate professionally with users and vendors, and escalating issues as needed. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least one year of technical experience with hardware/software are required.

Key Duties
  • Create, review and triage support Tier (1‑2) tickets on a timely basis, logging all incoming requests and categorizing them appropriately.
  • Provide support for routine issues such as password resets, account unlocks, and other common problems that have been previously identified and documented.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with users to understand their issues, provide updates on ticket status, and verify concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Communicate with users, vendors, and IT in a professional manner.
  • Identify issues requiring escalated support and route to the appropriate team or leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills
  • 1+ years of technical experience working with hardware/software.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to utilize an ITSM system for change and incident management.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.

Physical Demands
  • Frequent ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Travel to locations to assist users or deploy systems as needed.

  • Frequent ability to navigate through office environment, including periodic use of stairs and/or elevator, as needed.
  • Infrequent ability to lift general office documents and materials, up to 10 pounds.
  • Frequent vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
  • Work generally performed in an office environment, although periodic visits to construction sites and manufacturing facilities may be required.
  • Noise level in the typical office work environment is quiet.
