Description

Salary will be between $65,000 to $67,000 per year (based on education and experience)

Full-time position, includes insurance and time off benefits

Work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, with needed flexibility

About the Program

#MIP:
Me, In Progress is a dynamic Teen Wellness Program designed to enhance the well-being of adolescents through connection, exploration, and mental health support. #MIP offers a variety of wellness-focused activities and therapeutic modalities—including yoga, outdoor recreation, art, and other experiential programming—while fostering meaningful peer relationships and emotional growth.

The ultimate goal of #MIP is to equip youth with the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to thrive in the face of adversity and navigate life’s challenges with strength and self-awareness.

About the Role

The Director of #MIP provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Teen Wellness Program, serving as the central point of contact for youth, families, and community partners. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Mental Health Services, the Director plays a key role in advancing the program’s mission through strategic planning, partnership development, program innovation, and team leadership.

This role is ideal for a mission-driven leader who is passionate about teen mental health, excels in relationship-building, and brings a collaborative, forward-thinking approach to program growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide strategic leadership to the #MIP team, ensuring alignment with organizational mission and goals
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion, enhancement, and innovation to meet the evolving needs of teens
  • Conduct ongoing program assessments and use data-driven decision-making to measure effectiveness and outcomes

Program Operations & Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation
  • Ensure timely completion of all required documentation, reports, and treatment records
  • Maintain chart compliance, including required consents and treatment documentation
  • Ensure adherence to program procedures, protocols, funding source requirements, and HIPAA regulations
  • Oversee program expenditures, monitor budgets, and ensure accurate and timely submission of receipts and documentation

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Supervise, support, and mentor #MIP staff, providing guidance, training, and problem-solving support as needed
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and implement engaging, evidence-based programming
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture focused on professional development and quality service delivery

Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Cultivate and manage external partnerships with community organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance programming and outreach
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for families and community partners, managing mass communications and fostering open, transparent communication
  • Deliver presentations and outreach activities to promote the #MIP program and highlight its impact and success
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a relevant human services field (e.g., Public Health, Social Work, Counseling, Education, Nonprofit Management) from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience required
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with at-risk youth or youth with mental health challenges
  • Knowledge of evidence-based programs and interventions for adolescents experiencing mental health challenges
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, strategic planning, and partnership development
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team-building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • High level of customer service with the ability to build rapport with youth, families, staff, and community partners
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn and utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
