Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park
Location: Maitland, Florida
Position Type: Full-Time, Day Shift
Salary: $95,000–$115,000 annually

Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care while mentoring and supporting a strong nursing staff in a skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations and clinical services.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff to ensure the highest quality of resident care.
  • Promote a safe, healthy, and positive work environment for residents and team members.
  • Foster staff engagement, accountability, and professional development.
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, residents, families, and facility leadership.
  • Address and resolve nursing and unit-related concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in and oversee weekly wound rounds and clinical reviews.
  • Assist with regulatory surveys, audits, and compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to facility policies, state regulations, and best clinical practices.
  • Help maintain accurate documentation and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
  • Active and valid Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Minimum of three (2) years of long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
