RN Preop PACU Registered Nurse

Our PACU role ensures continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, monitoring the patient’s condition, providing safety, comfort, and privacy. The RN assists physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation, sterile techniques, and comprehensive patient care for those emerging from general anesthesia or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family for discharge.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
