Responsibilities
Live the Island Life as an ambassador of the brand by representing seasonal trends and delivering exemplary guest experiences.
- Partner with the Store Manager to lead by example through motivation, support, and communication, aiming to provide an exceptional lifestyle experience for guests.
- Build strong sales and service relationships with guests, consistently role‑modeling key sales and service behaviors across the team.
- Cultivate a culture of selling by achieving the sales plan through efficient planning, execution, business analysis, and streamlining store processes with the Store Manager.
- Create a learning environment to coach and develop retail team members, promoting sales and internal career growth from thoughtful hiring through clear performance expectations.
- Lead store leadership practices to inspire team collaboration and achieve store goals while maintaining an environment of fun and guest satisfaction.
- 3+ years of retail experience.
- 2+ years of management team supervision experience.
- Exposure to merchandising and retail visual concepts.
- Experience coaching and developing a team.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to analyze reports and identify opportunities for merchandising and presentation adjustments.
- College degree in Business or a related field.
- Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business.
Lifting or moving up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
Bending, stooping, kneeling required – frequently.
Climbing ladders – occasionally.
Routine standing for the duration of the shift (up to 8 hours).
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
