We are looking for a result‑driven, motivated Automotive Sales Manager responsible for promoting, training, and selling the dealership’s products and services through effective sales and training techniques and quality customer service. Our sales environment is negotiation‑free, and sales specialists are paid an hourly rate plus bonuses based on the number of cars sold, not the price of the car. Ford experience is a plus.
EssentialDuties
- Interview, hire, and train new sales associates
- Direct sales staffing and training to enhance the development and control of sales programs
- Establish annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit
- Monitor salesperson productivity and performance
- Coach and counsel sales associates
- Order or acquire new and used vehicle inventory
- Administer and monitor factory‑sponsored programs
- Display, merchandise, and promote new and used vehicles
- Review market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs and volume potential, and develop sales campaigns to accommodate dealership goals
- Serve as liaison between sales department and other departments
- Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
- Follow our selling process including manager fly‑bys and presenting numbers to customers
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Attend manager meetings as requested
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
