Security Officer Armed Protection

Overview

Security Officer Armed Protection position in Winter Park, FL. Part-Time role with a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance through the Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and deliver customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $23.49 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 07:30 AM - 05:30 PM Fri 07:30 AM - 05:30 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
