Delaware Elevator of Florida is seeking experienced Elevator Service Technicians to join our team in the Orlando/Daytona area. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service by maintaining, repairing, and modernizing elevators in both private and public infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical & Electrical Repairs:
Service, repair, adjust, and test elevators and related equipment using mechanical and electrical principles. - Attention to Detail:
Monitor and evaluate elevator performance, identifying and addressing issues promptly to ensure safety and efficiency. - On-Call Rotation:
Participate in scheduled rotations for after-hours emergencies, entrapments, and repairs. - Independent Work:
Manage service tasks efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction. - Fit-for-Duty:
Perform all physical requirements of the role independently and effectively. - Travel Requirements:
Be available to travel as necessary, including occasional overnight stays. - Team Support:
Collaborate with repair teams on projects involving heavy lifting or specialized requirements.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an independent Elevator Mechanic/Technician.
- Valid Elevator Mechanic Credentials:
State elevator licenses considered with additional experience. - Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to meet fit-for-duty requirements, including physical tasks.
- Dedication to safety, precision, and superior customer service.
