Estimator, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Our service division continues to grow, and we are seeking an Electrical Service Estimator to join our team. The Electrical Service Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for residential and light commercial electrical service projects. This role focuses on developing detailed scopes of work, preparing material and labor estimates, and communicating directly with customers throughout the estimating and approval process.

• Estimate Projects
  :
  Create accurate cost estimates and labor/material lists for electrical projects up to $200,000.
• Review & Takeoff
  :
  Analyze blueprints, specs, and site conditions to perform precise material and labor takeoffs.
• Client & Vendor Contact
  :
  Manage communications regarding project scope, pricing, revisions, and supplier quotes.
• Project Handoff
  :
  Coordinate with field teams for a smooth project handoff and provide support during building.
• Compliance & Databases
  :
  Keep pricing databases current and ensure all bids follow NEC and local codes.

• Minimum 5 years of electrical estimating experience, preferably in residential and commercial service work. Previous field experience or service operations experience highly preferred.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Expert understanding of NEC requirements, local codes, and industry safety standards.
• Excels in a fast‑paced service environment with varying project scopes and timelines.
• Proficiency with software like Accubid, McCormick, or similar electrical estimating platforms.
• Must reside in the Central Floria area.
