Fire Alarm Estimator
Must demonstrate a strong ability to analyze project specifications and accurately estimate the costs associated with fire alarm systems, including equipment, labor, and materials.
Reviewing bid documents, drawings, specifications, and scope requirements to understand project needs.
Preparing complete and accurate estimates for fire alarm system installations, upgrades, and renovations.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, riser diagrams, specifications, and code requirements.
Preparing comprehensive scopes of work for estimates and proposals.
Utilizing estimating software to develop accurate and competitive project pricing.
Minimum of five years of experience estimating fire alarm and life safety system projects.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, life safety systems, and applicable codes and standards.
Proven experience reviewing bid documents, plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Experience utilizing estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with major fire alarm manufacturers, including Notifier, Fire-Lite, Siemens, Edwards/EST, Gamewell-FCI, and Simplex.
NICET III or IV is highly desired!
