Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals and oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers according to customer demand and route requirements.
Work schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Start time flexible between 3:00a.m. and 7:00a.m. Requires on‑call rotation, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility to accommodate business needs.
- Prepare and make deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non‑CDL).
- Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, perform testing, and load/unload containers.
- Use a handheld tablet to scan orders, confirm accuracy, obtain route stop information, and navigate.
- Process packages returned from customer locations.
- Maintain vehicle in proper working condition, including minor roadside repairs.
- Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.
- Assist in packing doses for shipment, preparing cases, wiping doses, and loading/unloading according to safety standards and DOT regulations.
- Verify accuracy of labeling on outgoing shipments and prepare receipts for delivered products.
- Handle and dispose of waste and used materials in compliance with safety standards.
- Keep accurate log books and vehicle inspection records.
- Participate in required training: biohazard waste handling, blood‑borne pathogens, security awareness, dosimetry, radiation safety, contamination testing, HIPAA, fall prevention, ergonomic safety, safe driving procedures, route optimization, etc.
- Perform any other duties necessary to ensure a safe and efficient pharmacy operation.
- Use most safe and efficient delivery routes to provide timely and accurate deliveries.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. Preferred additional experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift containers up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night.
- Ability to sit, stand, be mobile, and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Availability for weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed.
- Computer and tablet proficiency.
- Bonus eligible; pay rate: $17.50 per hour.
