FYE Grad Student Worker Summer

This position will ensure the Office of the FYE is prepared for the incoming freshman class to attend ACAD curriculum development in August, the August orientation session, and First Flight.

Some duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the FYE director in ensuring course content for ACAD 101 is updated, working with ACAD faculty on syllabus & curriculum development, copying of materials needed for the final orientation session, and assisting with orientation & First Flight.

Excellent communication (both oral and writing), organization, interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a variety of constituents to include faculty, staff, administration, students, and families. Must have sufficient availability July & August leading up to start of new school year.

• Fluency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint);
• strong institutional knowledge of Winthrop practices;
• strong knowledge and understanding of the goals of a FYE program.

Pay Rate $11.00-$16.66
