Job DescriptionPosition Title: GFB Multilingual (ESL) Teacher Grades K-2 (2026 - 2027 SY)
Job Requirements:
- Design and deliver instruction for English as a Second Language (ESL) to students with varying levels of English proficiency.
- Provide small group instruction to Multilingual Learners (MLs) of varying needs, cultures and linguistic backgrounds including for students requiring special education services.
- Build student service schedules while working collaboratively and collegially with staff.
- Collaborate and communicate with the ML student’s content teacher(s) to align instruction and support both the ML student’s language development and their classroom instructional needs (vocabulary development, reading and writing support, and clarification of assignments).
- Be familiar with WIDA standards and have experience in applying the standards.
- Be knowledgeable of all ACCESS testing protocols, compliance regulations and be proficient in the interpretation of testing data.
- Assist with the oversight and delivery of the ACCESS for MLs test.
- Generate progress notes as required by district standards.
- Strong technology, organization and communication skills are critical.
- Ability to multi-task and work collegially on a team.
- Engage in two way communication with families including parent conferences.
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years experience working with ML students.
- Possess all licensing as mandated by DESE.
- Participate in all required events per the WTA contract.

Salary: $51,117 to $89,864 Per Year
