Sr. QC Specialist Microbiology
LENGTH: 12+ Months Contract
LOCATION:
Onsite - Boston, MA
Status:
Accepting Candidates
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical SME for Environmental Monitoring (EM) programs.
- Provide expertise in microbiological testing including EM, UM, Bioburden, Endotoxin, Sterility, Gram Stain, and Microbial Identification.
- Support contamination control strategies, aseptic processing activities, and GMP compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Analytical Development teams.
- Draft and review trend reports, procedures, technical documents, and laboratory records.
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related scientific discipline.
- 6+ years of microbiology experience within Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong Environmental Monitoring (EM) background.
- Hands-on aseptic processing and contamination control experience.
- Experience managing investigations, deviations, CAPAs.
- Proficiency with LIMS and Veeva Quality Systems.
- Strong technical writing skills for reports, procedures, and GMP documentation.
- Experience working in cGMP-regulated environments.
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):
Estimated hourly range: $60-$65/hr (W-2)
Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results
