Clinical Scientist - Oncology
Location:
Boston/Cambridge, MA
Salary: $116,000-$182,270/year + potential incentives

A Clinical Scientist opportunity is available for an experienced clinical development professional to support the regional and global development of oncology pipeline programs. The role will provide scientific leadership across clinical development teams, contributing to strategy, protocol development, study execution, data interpretation and regulatory activities.
Key Responsibilities- Represent Clinical Science on regional and global clinical development teams
- Contribute to the development and execution of clinical development strategies and plans
- Support development of clinical protocols, study synopses and associated documentation
- Evaluate emerging clinical data and provide recommendations on study design, development strategy and go/no-go decisions
- Identify potential development challenges and develop appropriate contingency strategies
- Lead or contribute to protocol development, scientific reviews and governance submissions
- Review study data, interpret results and communicate scientific conclusions across the organization
- Support trial medical monitoring and assessment of protocol conduct and subject safety
- Collaborate with Pharmacovigilance and Medical Monitoring teams on safety information
- Contribute to interactions with regulatory authorities and key opinion leaders
- Incorporate regulatory and external expert feedback into clinical development strategies and study designs
- Represent Clinical Science on internal task forces and cross-functional teams as required
- Work closely with research and development functions to provide therapeutic-area and clinical development expertise
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years, Master's with 4+ years, PharmD with 2+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of relevant clinical research or clinical development experience
- Experience with in pharmaceutical, CRO, healthcare consulting, biomedical research or clinical academia environments
- Strong clinical development and therapeutic-area knowledge, particularly within oncology
- Understanding of regional and global regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines
- Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret complex clinical data and translate findings into development decisions
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence decision-making across multidisciplinary and multinational teams
- Strong ability to anticipate issues, develop solutions and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working in a matrixed, collaborative environment
Compensation: $116,000-$182,270 base salary, plus potential short- and/or long-term incentives and comprehensive benefits.
Work arrangement:
Hybrid.
