We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage for our Neurology Consult Service in Boston, MA. This opportunity offers a consistent
Monday-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, making it an excellent choice for providers seeking flexible coverage while maintaining work-life balance.
- Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule
- No nights or weekends
- Compensation: $120 per hour
- Provide inpatient neurology consultations and comprehensive neurological assessments.
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurological conditions.
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with neurologists and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Order and interpret laboratory studies and imaging.
- Monitor patient progress andadjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timelyEMR documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement and team-based care initiatives.
- Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Current Massachusetts NP or PA license, as applicable.
- Current national certification appropriate to the provider's discipline.
- 1-2 years of neurology or related clinical experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in neurological examinations.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
