Join our Baseball Team Ticket Office Management Internship and gain practical experience in the fast-paced world of sports ticketing and customer service. As a Ticket Office Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting our ticketing staff with various tasks related to ticket sales, customer inquiries, and game-day operations. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn about ticketing systems, event management, and the inner workings of a professional sports organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead ticket office staff in processing ticket orders, group ticket sales, and game day ticket sales.
Respond to customer inquiries, provide information about ticket options, and resolve any ticket-related issues in a courteous and professional manner.
Accurately enter customer information, sales data, and financial transactions into the ticketing system.
Assist in the distribution and printing of physical tickets, including will-call and ticket mailing.
Support ticket office operations on game days, including ticket scanning, will-call assistance, and on-site customer service.
Generate ticket sales and attendance reports for internal use and analysis.
Assist in the implementation of ticket promotions and marketing initiatives to drive ticket sales.
Contribute to maintaining a positive relationship with season ticket holders, group leaders, and all other ticket purchasers.
Handle cash transactions accurately and securely following established procedures.
Provide general administrative support to the ticket office staff as needed.

Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a friendly and helpful attitude with a smile. - Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in ticketing transactions and data entry. - Communication
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members. - Adaptability:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. - Team Player:
Willingness to work collaboratively with the ticket office team and other staff members. - Cash Handling
Experience:
Previous experience in cash handling is a plus, but not mandatory. - Baseball Enthusiast: A passion for baseball and a general understanding of the game and its dynamics.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Sports Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Duration of Commitment & Compensation:
This is a 3 month (Mid-May through Mid-August) summer internship position. Compensation and academic credit options can be discussed during the interview process.
