Position OverviewThe Registered Dental Hygienist is responsible for delivering comprehensive preventive and periodontal care while ensuring excellent patient experiences through clinical excellence, patient education, and detailed documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide thorough, high‑quality preventive dental care for adult and pediatric patients
- Perform periodontal therapy, including scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance
- Administer laser therapy as part of periodontal treatment plans, as indicated
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and periodontal charting
- Take and review dental radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care
- Utilize Cavitron and other modern dental hygiene equipment effectively
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to all infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
- Collaborate closely with doctor and clinical team to ensure continuity of care
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience using Cavitron and modern dental hygiene equipment
- Experience providing periodontal treatment, including laser therapy
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Professional, reliable, and team‑oriented
- Pay Rate:
Approximately $40–$55 per hour, based on experience - Medical insurance
