As a Dental Assistant you will workto enhance the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients. As a Dental Assistant you will:
- Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Collects and records patient health histories and x-rays
- Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures
- Completes charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed
- Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies
- Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient
- Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff
- Assist administrative team with customer service functions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience required
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred but not required
- Previous customer service or office experience
- Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days in dental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Foster a positive attitude and be a team player
- Monday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
