Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking a (title) to join our PLANT OPERATIONS team!

The Maintenance Mechanic III performs repairs and maintenance on hospital buildings, equipment and components. Performs regular and preventative maintenance and emergency calls. Serves as a liaison between Aspirus and outside contractors.

HOURS: Full Time 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly, primarily night shift.

• Advanced knowledge of mechanical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Technical School diploma or equivalent, and
• State approved apprenticed Millwright, Machinery Repairman or equivalent.
• Completion of designated courses at technical college level and/or Healthcare Mechanic Certification as approved by the Maintenance Manager.
• Minimum of no less than eight (8) years’ of demonstrated work experience from at least two of the following subjects: refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, control systems, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, Mechanical certification, or construction/carpentry/general maintenance in a commercial, industrial, or health care setting unless otherwise determined by the Facilities Leader.
• Technical training in mechanical and/or electrical subject areas is required.
• Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required.
