RN, Surgical Assistant, RN Nurse

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2720

$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week

• On-call requirements once per week and every 5th weekend

• Response time for on-call: 20 minutes preferred, not to exceed 30 minutes

• Must be willing to scrub in to assist when needed

• Float requirements to backup PACU or fill sitter needs throughout hospital if low OR census

• Must be willing to float to other facility locations including Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior

• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required

• EPIC charting experience preferred

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin or compact RN License, AHA or ARC BLS, AHA or ARC ACLS preferred

• ADN or BSN degree required

• Work in 5 ORs and 1 procedure room with specialties including OB/GYN, General, Ortho, Spine, ENT, Podiatry, and Pain

• Scrub colors provided by facility

• Must demonstrate ability to work independently, manage change well, and maintain positive attitude with flexibility

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours

• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers required to wear masks at all times

This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive surgical department featuring five operating rooms and one procedure room. The facility provides diverse surgical specialties including obstetrics/gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, spine procedures, ENT, podiatry, and pain management. The organization maintains multiple locations throughout the region and emphasizes collaborative teamwork and high-quality patient care standards.
