Overview

Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team at the Wood County Jail in Wisconsin. This position follows a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.

Location:

Wood County Jail, Wisconsin.

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Rotation includes every other weekend

• Deliver direct patient care in a secure correctional environment
• Administer medications and treatments
• Conduct assessments and document inmate health concerns
• Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff
• Respond to medical needs with professionalism and confidence
• Help create a safe, respectful, and efficient healthcare environment

• Active Wisconsin LPN license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Correctional or emergency nursing experience is helpful, but not required

• 12-hour shifts with built-in schedule consistency
