RV SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Kunes RV is hiring entry-level and experienced RV Service Technicians to troubleshoot and repair a variety of RV systems and appliances. This is a great opportunity to begin a rewarding, long‑term career and earn an excellent income while learning valuable skills during our in‑house, full‑time RV Service Tech Apprenticeship Program. We offer continued training to all levels of experience. RV techs know a little bit about everything—electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, etc.
If you can do any one of these, we’ll teach you the rest! To get started you don’t need specific RV experience, but you must be handy, dedicated, responsible and professional. Kunes RV has immediate openings as we expand our award‑winning service department. Multiple positions accommodate various technical experience. We look for mechanically and technically inclined individuals who enjoy troubleshooting and hand‑work.

We offer competitive hourly compensation based on experience and skill set. Hourly plus bonus incentive program is available, and we are willing to provide a signing bonus for the right individual and skill set.

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
- Examine and diagnose RV problems
- Discuss repairs with RV service advisor
- Communicate additional service requests to RV service advisor
- Provide labor time estimates to RV service advisor
- Monitor repair time and update RV service advisor regularly
- Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation
- Complete story and/or documentation for repairs
- Attend company and factory training
- Experience working in an RV dealership environment is preferred
- Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, etc.) is helpful, but applicable work experience is also considered
- RVDA/RVIA certification a plus
