Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant Role:

• Prepare and post general ledger entries to ensure accurate financial records
• Perform regular account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with investment accounting and related reporting activities
• Support accounts payable processing and ensure timely, accurate vendor payments
• Assist with month‑end close processes and general ledger maintenance
• Utilize reporting tools and Excel to analyze and organize financial data

Requirements for the Staff Accountant Role:

• Associate degree in Accounting preferred; additional education is a plus
• 2–5 years of accounting or banking experience
• Prior experience with reconciliations and general ledger activity
• Background in banking or financial services (including teller or transaction‑focused roles) strongly preferred
