Channeled Resources Group is looking to add to our family an experienced General Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing backup support across key accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities- Enter, track, and maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Process payroll (ADP), including verification of hours, deductions, and compliance with policies
- Assist with and provide backup support for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- Maintain and monitor lease records, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Prepare and post journal entries ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards
- Organize and manage financial and operational documents for easy access and compliance
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and systems
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with payroll systems
- Knowledge in purchase order management
- Familiarity with lease accounting and financial reporting
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and systems
