Position Title: Account Receivable & Payable Specialist
Wage: $22.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Our client in Franksville, WI is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist to join their finance team. This role is responsible for managing the company’s incoming and outgoing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely processing of invoices and collections.

Account Receivable & Payable Specialist Responsibilities- Generate and send invoices to clients accurately and on time
- Monitor customer accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions and prepare accounts receivable reports
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
- Verify accuracy of purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for both receivables and payables
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support internal audits and provide documentation as needed
- Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding account inquiries
- Collaborate with management to ensure financial processes run smoothly and efficiently
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in the recycling, waste management, or manufacturing industries preferred
