Position Title: Senior Accountant
Wage: Based on Experience
We are partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Browntown, WI to hire a Sr. Accountant for a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite opportunity. This role is a key member of the plant finance team, working closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, analysis, and operational support. This position reports to the Controller. SeniorAccountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts
- Produce and distribute monthly financial reports related to plant performance
- Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset and tooling ledgers
- Assist with and participate in internal and external audits
- Participate in quarterly physical inventory processes
- Support accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing and cash application (backup support)
- Provide backup support for accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payment processing
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in financial operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience strongly preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Experience with ERP systems
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
