Position OverviewThe Used Car Detailer is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and reconditioning vehicles on the service lot to ensure they are lot-ready and presentable for customers. This includes full interior and exterior detailing, buffing and waxing, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities- Perform full vehicle detailing, including interior vacuuming, shampooing, and exterior washing
- Buff, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors to dealership standards
- Recondition vehicles on the lot, addressing minor cosmetic issues
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance needs before customer delivery
- Maintain and organize detailing equipment, tools, and supplies
- Ensure a clean and safe work area
- Assist with moving vehicles around the lot as needed
- Previous detailing or lot experience is required
- Experience with using a DA Buffer
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Must have clean & valid driver's license
- Must be 18 years of age or older
